National Archaeological Anthropological Memory Management
National Archaeological Anthropological Memory Management Foundation – NAAM – Curaçao is a non-profit organization committed to the conservation and identification of the tangible and intangible heritage of the Dutch Caribbean.
NAAM was founded in 1998 by the National Government of the former Netherlands Antilles. By presenting itself as “more than a museum”, NAAM has been able to develop over time into an institution broadly committed to documenting, restoring and enriching the cultural memory of our people. This is why the M in NAAM no longer stands for “Museum” but for “Memory Management”. NAAM does not have a permanent collection, but they do occasionally have temporary exhibits.
