Gallery Alma Blou
Gallery Alma Blou is housed in a 300 years old, historic mansion, Landhuis Habaai. It is the oldest and largest art gallery on Curaçao, featuring local and Caribbean art. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics are displayed in the main building, whereas original, handmade local handcraft is displayed in the Folk Art space. It is a joy to walk around in the sculpture garden. The themes and materials vary widely. Art is inspired by colors, architecture, people, underwater life, the wind, mythology, the sea, or landscape. In short, by all Curaçao and the Caribbean, with their diversity, has to offer and triggers the artists’ imagination.
